The netloan combi module provides a way for users to belong to two user groups so that they have some control over the settings they have each time they login. When making a booking, the user can select whether he is making the booking as a member of his normal user group (the primary user group) or as another user group (the secondary user group).

how does the module work?

The netloan combi module can be used to achieve a variety of activities that result in a better customer experience, whilst at the same time allowing you to maintain control.  The functionality of the module can be tied into netloan’s user group settings to give users different privileges when they login to netloan.

how can you use netloan combi?

suggestion 1
You are able to set primary and secondary user groups with different Windows profiles so that for example, they have different screen resolutions. Users can then use these settings to decide whether they would like to make a booking with a larger or smaller screen size.

suggestion 2
You are able to use the secondary user group setting to offer users the choice when making a booking if they would like to use Internet Explorer during their time on the PC.  In addition you could give the user less time on his PC session if he wanted to surf the internet.

suggestion 3
If you have a web filtering system that can filter users by domain group membership you can use the secondary user group to allow people to decide what level of filtering they will have when they login.

Using this information, you are then able to charge for the booking according to the level of filtering they choose, or alternatively allow much longer bookings if people decide to use a high level of filtering.
